About Vandyke
Greenway pride is alive and well in the classrooms of Vandyke Elementary and there is plenty to be proud of!
Vandyke received the 2005 and 2009 Blue Ribbon School from the U.S. Department of Education for continuous growth on the state assessments.
Vandyke received a third Blue Ribbon award in 2018 as an exemplary high performing school. Vandyke Elementary was also designated as a Minnesota School of Excellence in November of 1996 and 2005, and 2018, an award presented by the Minnesota Elementary School Principals Association.

Important Preschool & VPK4 Application Updates – Greenway Early Childhood
Dear Greenway Early Childhood Families,
We know many of you are eagerly awaiting updates on your preschool and VPK4 applications. Here’s the latest information:
Application Status
✅ All applications for our Preschool (3-year-olds) and VPK4 programs that have been received are on file at the district office. Any new applications may be accessed through the district website and submitted to the district office.
VPK4 Acceptance
📢 Acceptance notifications for our VPK4 program will be sent out in June. 💡 Please note: Acceptance is contingent upon the Pathways Grant and eligibility requirements according to Minnesota law .
3-Year-Old Program
🏛️ We are currently waiting for legislative decisions and funding allocations to determine the number of classrooms and program details. We expect to have more information in May.
