About the PTC

Who We Are

Vandyke PTC, or Vandyke Parent-Teacher Committee, is the volunteer organization for grades K-5 at Vandyke Elementary. We advocate for education, health, safety, and success of the youth at Vandyke Elementary School. The Vandyke PTC helps to fund teachers money for student activities/supplies ($150 per year per teacher), puts on Trout Lake Day, conducts fundraisers throughout the year, supports the PBIS program through donations, and much, much more.

Vandyke PTC Mission Statement

To support the academic programs at Vandyke, to assist with fundraising for activities that are not fully funded by the school district, and to provide volunteers for activities during the school year.

How to Get Involved

Vandyke PTC NEEDS the help of parents, grandparents, teachers, and community members in order to survive and thrive. If you are interested in supporting Vandyke through participation in the PTC, please come to the PTC meetings. We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month in the Vandyke Media Center at 6:00pm.

If you have any questions or concerns about the Vandyke PTC, please feel free to contact Julie Vekich (PTC President) at jvekich@isd316.org .
